The congregation of St Mark’s values Christian Education. We have a large adult Sunday School class, as well as a children’s class, that meet in the parish hall at 9:00 a.m. between the Sunday services.
DISCIPLESHIP FORUM
Fr. Ward leads a discipleship forum in the parish hall on Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. (after Evening Prayer). This informal group gathers to discuss issues of faith and practice, and our ongoing Christian formation. The format varies between book studies, a DVD curriculum, workbooks, etc., but there is always a lively and open discussion. Please bring your favorite beverage, a snack, your Bible, and join us.
WOMAN'S BIBLE STUDY
A woman's Bible study meets on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parish hall. The studies run from October through May and use Precept Ministries Bible Study materials. The upcoming studies for the fall will be on the books of Esther and Ruth. The class on Esther will begin on October 5 and conclude on October 27. All are welcome to attend.
